Talus Data Inventory

The Talus Model and Data Inventory (MoDI) is a constantly evolving collection of public data sources related to health, economics, employment, demographics, education, and emergency management. These data sources serve as the contextual backbone that allow decision makers to have a positive impact on the world.

The Talus Analytics research team hand-curated the MoDI in order to help researchers and policy makers access the data that they need. Our team categorized and tagged each data source using 12 pieces of metadata, including: the owner/author, a description of the resource, the topical area, information on data availability, the geographic resolution, and the frequency of updates. As each data source is cataloged, the Talus team updates the MoDI using Ad lib, a simple, online library-building software that gives investigators the ability to create and publish websites of their own research, academic papers, or any other type of inventory.
